Lincoln Square has a new dining destination! La Pecora Bianca, the beloved New York Italian restaurant known for its house-made pastas, lively hospitality, and signature cocktail program, has opened its newest and largest location at 61 Columbus Avenue, directly across from Lincoln Center. Since its founding in 2015, La Pecora Bianca has grown into one of New York’s most recognizable modern Italian restaurant brands, now spanning nine locations across the city.
With two floors and 8,000 square feet of indoor space and more than 250 seats, the restaurant is designed for every occasion, from pre-performance dinners and post-show drinks to leisurely lunches, weekend brunches, and celebrations. As Founder and CEO Mark Barak put it, “With Lincoln Square, we wanted to build on everything people love about La Pecora Bianca while creating an experience that feels entirely new. It feels especially fitting to bring that creativity to a neighborhood so defined by culture, art and performance.”
The menu features La Pecora Bianca favorites, including Rigatoni Vodka, Whipped Ricotta Toast, and Chicken Parmesan, alongside a collection of new dishes created exclusively for the Lincoln Square location. Highlights include Local Burrata with stone fruit agrodolce, toasted pistachios, and chestnut honey, an Autumn Pizza layered with delicata squash, speck, ricotta, fontina, and sage, and two new pasta dishes, Mafaldine with roasted butternut squash and brown butter, and Trecce with braised short rib ragù and Parmesan. Rounding out the new additions is a Swordfish Cacciatore served with tomato and red pepper sugo, green olives, and toasted garlic. The beverage menu features a broad selection of Italian wines alongside signature cocktails, spritzes, and aperitivo-driven drinks designed for both pre-performance and late-evening dining.

The design is equally striking. Created in collaboration with interior architecture firm Home Studios, the space features soft yellow, pink, and green tilework, white oak millwork, plaster, terra cotta, and custom textiles, with nearly every element designed specifically for the space. A dramatic 50-foot lemon orchard mural by artist Kimmy Quillin stretches across both floors, creating a visual connection between the restaurant’s two levels, while a sculptural curved bar display featuring bespoke ceramic elements adds another handcrafted focal point. The result is a space that feels colorful, energetic, and layered, with a sense of occasion perfectly suited to one of New York’s defining cultural neighborhoods.

The opening is also a reflection of the continued strength of Lincoln Square as a commercial destination. With a Q3 2026 storefront vacancy rate of 11.56%, well below the Manhattan average, the neighborhood continues to attract top-tier businesses, and the arrival of La Pecora Bianca reinforces that reputation. La Pecora Bianca Lincoln Square is located at 61 Columbus Avenue, between West 62nd and 63rd Streets.
