New York City’s Most Iconic Race Is Almost Here, and It’s Finishing Right in Our Backyard.
One of the greatest spectacles in all of sport is just days away! The TCS New York City Marathon brings together tens of thousands of runners from around the world, charging through all five boroughs in a display of grit, community, and pure New York energy. And as usual, the finish line lands right in our backyard in Central Park, bringing all the marathon energy straight to Lincoln Square.
This year’s NYC Marathon will be held on Sunday, November 1, with the course spanning from Staten Island up through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and back down to Manhattan, finishing near Tavern on the Green in Lincoln Square. Expect significant traffic, parking restrictions, and street closures across New York City on both Saturday, October 31, and race day, Sunday, November 1. Plan ahead for delays and alternate routes.
