Pride Month is here, and Lincoln Square is celebrating with a vibrant lineup of performances, creative events, community programs, and special Pride-themed offerings. From silent discos and jazz performances to library programs and colorful shopping finds, there are plenty of ways to honor, celebrate, and connect with the LGBTQ+ community throughout June.
Pride Through Performance & Art
Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City brings Pride celebrations to its campus with several events. On Friday, June 12, at 6:30pm, Stud Country invites guests to join the “Queer Church of Line Dance” on The Dance Floor at Josie Robertson Plaza (10 Lincoln Center Plaza), celebrating the rich history of LGBTQ+ cowboy culture through line dancing and partner dancing. Later that evening, at 10:00pm, Gorgeous Gorgeous transforms the plaza into a Pride Month Silent Disco with DJ Louie XIV. Then, on Thursday, June 25, at 7:30pm, Where the Boys Are takes over the David Rubenstein Atrium (1887 Broadway) with an evening of male burlesque, cabaret, and queer performance.
At Jazz at Lincoln Center, Bryan Carter’s Jazz at Pride comes to Dizzy’s Club in Frederick P. Rose Hall (Broadway at 60th Street) on Wednesday, June 10, at 7:00pm and 9:00pm, and Thursday, June 11, at 7:00pm, bringing together an all-star lineup of vocalists and musicians for a celebration of LGBTQ+ artists through jazz, storytelling, and community.
The New York Philharmonic presents Celebrate Pride on Tuesday, June 16, at 7:30pm at David Geffen Hall (10 Lincoln Center Plaza), featuring Broadway performers Jenn Colella and Noah J. Ricketts, the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, and music by LGBTQ+ composers and artists connected to New York City.
Film at Lincoln Center is also celebrating Pride Month with The Little Sister at the Walter Reade Theater (165 West 65th Street). Screening Friday, June 5, through Thursday, June 11, the acclaimed coming-of-age drama follows Fatima, a young Muslim woman navigating faith, family, and sexuality while discovering her identity. The Metropolitan Opera also marks Pride Month with its annual Pride Night Toast, held in conjunction with American Ballet Theatre’s 2026 season at the Metropolitan Opera House (30 Lincoln Center Plaza). On Tuesday, June 30, at 7:30pm, ABT presents Don Quixote, a vibrant ballet celebrating color, humor, and exuberance while honoring the LGBTQ+ community and the spirit of inclusivity and self-expression. The Pride Night Toast follows at 10:00pm. Please note: Pride Night Toast requires two tickets — one for the performance and a separately purchased Pride Night Toast ticket; both are required for entry.
Queer History, Culture & Creativity
The Central Park Conservancy is offering special Queer Central Park Tours throughout June, inviting participants to explore the LGBTQ+ community’s dynamic history and enduring impact on New York City’s most iconic green space through 90-minute guided walks scheduled at various times throughout the month.
On Wednesday, June 24, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Color Me Mine Upper West Side (177 Amsterdam Avenue) hosts a Pride Painting Social, inviting participants to paint pottery, meet new people, and connect with the LGBTQ+ community in a welcoming, creative environment.
Riverside Library (127 Amsterdam Avenue) is hosting Pride programming for teens. On Thursday, June 11, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, YA Book Chat & Karaoke – LGBTQ+ Pride & Hamilton invites participants ages 13–18 to discuss books about LGBTQ+ musicians, icons, and Hamilton before taking the mic for karaoke. On Tuesday, June 16, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, Virtual Teen Comics Chat – LGBTQ+ Pride Month and Art features librarians leading an online discussion of comics exploring LGBTQ+ themes and art, with participating teens eligible for a free comic book when visiting Riverside Library or the 53rd Street Library.
Self-Expression, Visibility & Impact
Neighborhood retailers are celebrating Pride Month with special collections and promotions.
At The Shops at Columbus Circle (10 Columbus Circle), H&M is highlighting its Pride collection and continued support of LGBTQ+ organizations, while Lululemon is offering Pride-inspired apparel and accessories designed to celebrate individuality and self-expression. Sunglass Hut is spotlighting Pride-themed eyewear styles throughout the month, and Paper Source is offering a Pride Collection filled with cards, gifts, stationery, and colorful accessories. Morgenthal Frederics is marking Pride Month with a special offer through June 30, giving customers $100 off custom lenses with the purchase of handcrafted frames.
Nearby, Nordstrom (225 West 57th Street) is featuring Pride-inspired merchandise and products throughout the month, while Sephora (1863 Broadway) is showcasing beauty products and brands that support the LGBTQ+ community. Target (1865 Broadway) is once again featuring Pride-themed apparel, accessories, home goods, and gifts, making it easy to find colorful ways to celebrate the month. Kiehl’s (154 Columbus Avenue) is celebrating Pride through its 2026 “Love is Natural” campaign, created in partnership with NYC Pride and artist Eli Sudbrack of AVAF (assume vivid astro focus). The campaign celebrates authenticity, self-discovery, and self-expression while supporting LGBTQ+ youth through its partnership with the Ali Forney Center.
Lincoln Ristorante (142 West 65th Street) is raising a glass to Pride Month with three specialty cocktails created in partnership with Dos Hombres mezcal and tequila: the Cranstonian, Honeydew Smash, and Passion Fruit Margarita. Throughout June, 10% of proceeds from every featured Pride cocktail sold will be donated to The Trevor Project, helping support crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ young people.
