After much anticipation, Brasserie Boulud is now open at 1900 Broadway at One Lincoln Plaza, bringing acclaimed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud back to the Upper West Side. The new French brasserie opens in the space formerly home to Boulud Sud, Bar Boulud, and Épicerie Boulud, introducing a new concept centered on the classic French brasserie.
A Michelin-starred chef who has built his reputation in the United States over the past four decades, Boulud draws on his French heritage and decades of culinary experience. “Growing up in Lyon, I was inspired by the great brasseries of France—lively, generous places with a convivial spirit, rooted in tradition and seasonal cooking,” said Daniel Boulud. “With Brasserie Boulud, we are bringing that spirit to New York: soulful, accessible cuisine served with warmth in a vibrant room.”
“We are thrilled to be back at home on the Upper West Side, matching the cultural excitement of the Lincoln Center area with this new concept and beautifully revitalized space,” said Sebastien Silvestri, CEO of the Dinex Group. The newly redesigned space, created by celebrated architect David Rockwell, features a dramatic floating oval bar, a variety of seating options, and outdoor café seating along Broadway.

The restaurant also includes Épicerie Boulud, serving pastries and coffee in the morning and sandwiches and salads in the afternoon, as well as Bar Viv, an intimate cocktail lounge offering drinks into the evening. Three private dining rooms are available for celebrations, business dinners, and special events.
The menu features Seafood Tower, French Onion Soup, Steak Frites, Lobster Soufflé, and Boudin Blanc, along with daily specials such as Dover Sole, Lamb Daube, Duck Pie, and Salt-Baked Branzino. The restaurant also brings back Boulud’s popular DB Burger.
Brasserie Boulud is open Tuesday through Sunday from 4:30pm to 10:30pm. Épicerie Boulud is open Tuesday through Sunday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, and Bar Viv is open from 4:00pm to midnight. Reservations are available through Resy, though tables are already in high demand, so be sure to book ahead to experience Daniel Boulud’s latest addition to the Lincoln Square dining scene.
