Don’t Miss the NYC Small Business Month Expo

May is NYC Small Business Month, a citywide celebration of the local businesses that keep New York running. The centerpiece of this year’s programming is the NYC Small Business Month Expo, a free, one-day event hosted by the NYC Department of Small Business Services on Thursday, May 29, from 9:00am to 4:00pm at Center415 (415 5th Avenue between East 37th and East 38th Street). Small business owners of all stages, industries, and boroughs can receive the tools and support they need to succeed.

Attendees will have access to over 100 free city programs, agencies, and partner organizations; they can receive help with faster city permits and licenses, financing, legal assistance, hiring, government contracting, and more—all in one place. The Expo will also feature a free resource fair, consultations, workshops, and networking opportunities. Workshop topics include AI, funding, and merchant organizing. After you register, check your confirmation email for details on registering for a timeslot for an on-site consultation covering areas like financing, legal, M/WBE certification, winning government contracts, and other essential business matters.

Whether you're just getting started or looking to grow your business, the NYC Small Business Month Expo is a one-stop opportunity to get expert advice, make valuable connections, and explore the many resources available to support your success. Admission is free, but registration is required. Visit shopyourcity.cityofnewyork.us to learn more and register.
