There are a number of ways that you can become involved with the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District. We are here to support and get the word out about our local retailers and cultural organizations.
If you own or manage an area business or cultural institution, we invite you to participate in one of our many promotional programs that we put on over the course of the year. We do the groundwork of structuring and advertising the promotion—so that all you have to do is “plug in” as a participant and reap the benefits of increased visibility. Most of our promotions are free, or of nominal charge, to you. Examples of ways that you can get involved include, but are not limited to, offering an in-store discount or special activity to attendees at our Winter’s Eve festival, posting an in-store offer/special event in the LINCOLN SQUARE or LINKS newsletters, and advertising in our highly-distributed Lincoln Square Map and Guide.
Owners of real property, commercial tenants, residential tenants and condo owners in the district are eligible to vote on corporate matters at our annual meeting, which takes place in the late spring. Open to the public, the annual meeting is a great way to learn about the BID’s latest accomplishments and financial position. This large gathering usually includes a keynote speaker addressing a topic relevant to the neighborhood and is an exceptional opportunity in which to meet your neighbors, colleagues and fellow business owners. To register to vote at the annual meeting and to be notified of next the annual meeting date, please sign up here.
